RJ laser devices for Controlled Acupuncture - What is required for diagnosis and therapy?
The controlled acupuncture is based on the auricular therapy according to NOGIER, but today this method to check the patients reaction to a stimulus it is used not only in acupuncture and auricular therapy but also for local therapy, pain, organic dysfunctions and many more.
What is auricular therapy, ear acupuncture?
Ear acupuncture/auricular therapy, is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Auricular therapy refers to the ear acupuncture system according to Paul Nogier, France, the "father of modern ear acupuncture". It widely used for many conditions, including addiction treatment, mood disorders, obesity, pain, and many other symptoms. This medical system is seen as a holistic approach to medicine, an approach that treats the whole person.
Even a beginner can start easily and can perform a quite good diagnosis and therapy. The acupuncture points found on the ear can help to regulate the body's internal organs, structures and functions.

What is the RAC/VAS?
The controlled acupuncture is based on the “Reflex-Auricula-Cardiaque” (RAC) refers to “Ear-Heart-Reflex” discovered in 1968 by MD Paul Nogier.
Dr. Nogier felt changes in the radial pulse wave when he pressed on some points on the ear during while holding the pulse. He called this RAC because he had been studying acupuncture and the ear. In fact many external stimuli cause reflex reactions in human beings, animals as well as plants. For example it is possible to feel RAC with the laser beam, needle or some other stimulus. When we move the laser towards the patient, we can feel RAC response. In Germany, the Nogier Reflex has been taught to doctors using the mainly the laser. During our examinations the doctor’s finger or hand causes RAC in the same way and so does the other stimulus. It can be detected on the throat as well.
Nogier, inspired from the Chinese Pulse, held the radial pulse of his patient. The Chinese Pulse gives a diagnosis according to Eastern medical philosophy, RAC gives a diagnosis and as well as the Eastern one.
Pulse test
Today´s main research in the field of auricular medicine comes from Germany and in the recent years the Nogier Reflex has been further developed by MD Frank Bahr, Manfred Reininger, Uwe Petermann (Vet), Beate Strittmatter and colleagues and has become the base of controlled acupuncture.

Ways of examination
In ear acupuncture, holding the radial pulse has an important role as well as inspecting and palpating the earlobe to diagnose the illness. While inspecting, we determine whether there is an abnormal situation in the inspected area. The same is valid on body parts.
Receptors
Receptors get the stimuli of laser light, sound, pain, hot, cold, and smell, etc. and they let external and internal stimuli enter to the nerves. These stimuli have to be converted to nerve signals and these signals have to be carried to the brain to be recognized by the brain.
The RAC is based on resonance, so-called Laser Resonance Therapy

Electronic diagnosis with the Physiolaser
With RJ laser devices all functions can be executed simply by moving only one finger.
Important for the controlled therapy: The frequencies must be exact to create resonance and the probe must provide the correct handling (on-hand operation).
